The "Get Naked" Bikini

Whether the goal is revenge of an old girlfriend or simply to add some spice to a rather dull pool party, the “get naked bikini” will unwillingly get you naked.

This dissolving bikini created by a German company (it dissolves within seconds of being in water) is being marketed as “the ultimate form of revenge for recently dumped dudes.”

Oddly enough I can't seem to find the price or buy it online...not that I want one for myself.

In the meantime I warn all ladies to be on the lookout for suspicious packages in the mail with a bikini inside...it may just be a ploy to get you naked!

I'll Take A Side Of Boobs Please

Most of us have paraded a side boob here and there never thinking twice about it, but little did we know that we are just one of many promoting this evergrowing trend.

The term “side boob” has become an entity in itself spawning websites like sideboob.org. Take a moment to type in “side boobs“ to google or bing and a host of celebrity photos will sprout up on your computer screen. There is even a twitter profile “sidebooborg” with almost 2,000 followers. The profile: this website was created to give the public a different look at celebrities, or better yet.. a different look at their boobs.

These days the runway is featuring more side boobs than ever as designers create more dresses equipped with gaping armholes. But, I guess we have to blame tabloid magnets like Lindsay Lohan for giving side boobs a bad name. I mean, there are even claims that she is selling side boob pics to maintain her flashy lifestyle.

But, side boobs aside, this trend doesn’t always have to be a trashy connotation. Stars like Anne Hathaway, Natalie Portman and Scarlett Johansson give the side boob a tasteful look.

Remember Pamela Anderson, at the end of the day, a side boob is way classier than a full frontal. But hey, that's just my opinion.

Post-Menopausal Woman: Meet Curcumin

Studies have shown that "Approximately 6 million women in the United States use hormone replacement therapy (HRT) to treat the symptoms of menopause, and post-menopausal women who take HRT are prone to developing progestin-fueled breast cancer.

Post-menopausal woman...meet the popular Indian spice Curcumin.

In a study conducted by The University of Missouri's College of Veterinary Medicine and the Dalton Cardiovascular Research Center, Curcumin was found to delay the first appearances of progestin-accelerated tumors and decrease the incidence and reduce the numbers of progestin-fueled breast tumors. This study has been accepted for future publication in the Menopause Journal.

According to the American Cancer Society, using HRT which combines estrogen with progestin for several years increases not only the risk of developing breast cancer but also the chances of dying from the disease. Fuller Cleavage: Meet Macrolane

It has been said that "Sixty percent of women have some degree of asymmetry, me being one of them, until I underwent surgery and had a reduction. Now, they are both of equal size; however, had I known about Macrolane, I may have gone a different route.

According to Wikipedia, "Macrolane is a breast and body-contour filler marketed by Q-Med in the UK since early 2008. It has received attention as a less invasive alternative to surgical breast enlargement, offering an increase of one cup size through injections that only take between 30 and 90 minutes - heralding the term "30 minute boob job."

While doing some research on this filler, I found a great article from the San Francisco Chronicle documenting a woman's Macrolane journey from start to finish. She discovers that her breasts are asymmetrical and soon finds herself sitting topless in a London hospital with a plastic surgeon.

The article notes that "Forty-four percent of American women have dissatisfaction with their breasts and consider doing some augmentation."

At the closing of this article, the writer is very satisfied with the outcome of her simple surgery - "When I look in the mirror, I'm thrilled -- for the first time without padding, I have cleavage.

Burnt Boobies Anyone?

The L.A. Times has reported that Sienna Miller nearly burned her breasts off recently while filming an explosion scene in the much anticipated blockbuster "GI Joe: The Rise of the Cobra."

At a news conference in Sydney, she reassured the press "Luckily it wasn't my breasts, it was the bit in-between. It got a bit burnt when an explosion got a bit close."

As a BBG myself, I think I may start to rethink my big movie career debut...

Jessica Simpson - muse for new Red Carter line

Jessica Simpson is a gossip magnet and a coveted Boobie Bible member. From breakups to weight fluctuations, she is constantly a hot topic in the tabloids. But some good news is that famed swimsuit designer Red Carter (who will of course be at the 2009 Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim - July 15-19) is using Jess as his muse for his latest bathing suit line....and it's affordable!

The SunSentinel reports that Carter is going to "Jessicafy" the swimsuit line that will soon be available at one of my favorite stores, Macy's. The swimsuit line will debut in Decemeber and suits will retail in the $68-$95 range, which is pretty affordable.

Expect crazy prints like animal, checkerboard and floral-print bikinis; triangle tops or sweetheart necklines in vivid hues; ruffled bandeaux with tie-side or scoop bottoms.

Carter reflects of his process of whipping out a line in less than two months: "I see what Jessica represents ... and tell that story in fabric. The swim line has to represent her, who she is. She's up on current fashion. She's a down-to-earth country girl. She's a sweet girl, but she's also sexy, believe me.

New technology for mammograms

Great news for all women - we no longer have to dread getting a mamogram!

MD News Miami just released its first edition and there is a great story on the technological developments of breast imaging. The Hybrid SPECT-CmT is a technological development six years in the making and doctors are working hard at the Duke Multi-Modality Imaging Lab to perfect the machine. This new advancement creates a more comfortable mammogram experience while offering physicians a more powerful tool to locate the smallest tumors within breast tissue.

The Hybrid SPECT-CmT uses a very low amount of radiation and provides a three-dimensional image of the breast. This is especially good for women with dense breast tissue, those who have cancerous tumors along the chest wall and those women who usually avoid a mammogram exam because of fear/discomfort. The best thing about this technology is women no longer have to deal with getting their breast compressed during the examination. Instead, we can lie facing down on the table and this advanced technology scans clear images of the breast.

Just a few months ago my friends and I had yet another garage sale. Among the items for sale was a large box filled with expensive bras that no longer fit me. It was a shame to sell each one for a meager dollar, but I hope a happy toothless lady roams the world wearing a 34 D Chantelle Bra with a big smile on her face!

If you aren't able to stomach the thought of getting rid of old bras, try making your bra into a purse! I know it sounds pretty crazy but there are some cute ones out there, and you can even honor Breast Cancer by putting the pink ribbon pins all over. Maybe it makes for a cute wall decoration or a great change purse for a night on the town with the girls.

Will Jack paint Rose one more time?

One of my favorite actresses in the world, and also known to have made a few full frontal appearances in her career, Kate Winslet has finally decided to throw in the towel on nude scenes. Remember when Jack painted naked Rose in Titanic?

The beautiful and talented actress was recently quoted by Harper's Bazaar saying "if people are noticing my boobs in a movie and saying they do what real boobs do, then that’s great. I’ll be 34 in October. I can’t keep getting away with it."

Kate...34 isn't old!

She recently showed some skin in the academy award winning movie The Reader and apparently this may be her last time showing off the girls!

Pasties hot or not?

This past weekend on the 4th of July, I spent a portion of the evening on a boat watching fireworks. I wore a cute little black dress and bared no cleavage at all. Rihanna, on the otherhand, wore pasties under a black fitted blazer while partying at Tao Beach in Las Vegas. Although I know I am no celebrity, I tend to associate pasties with porn stars, a category in which I had not yet placed Rihanna.

Remember Lil' Kim's appearance at the MTV Video Music Awards in 1999? I think I just lost a little bit of respect for Rihanna - but she does have some nice boobies! Maybe next time she should wear an actual bikini top or no pasties at all...that would even be a bit more classier.
